Harper Adams has just received full accreditation from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons for its new suite of post-registration courses.
These will allow Registered Veterinary Nurses to further their studies and gain an RCVS Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Nursing (Cert AVN) by studying a certificate in one of the following areas of clinical interest; Anaesthesia, Analgesia and Pain Management, Surgical or Oncology.
These are the first courses accredited on this new post-registration framework in the UK.
An induction event will take place on Friday 27th September and will see the first cohorts of students enrolled on the Grad Cert/PgC in Advanced Veterinary Nursing (Anaesthesia) and Grad Cert/PgC in Advanced Veterinary Nursing (Oncology).
The other two subjects will run from Sept 2020. Applications are still open until Friday 20th September 2019.
